Dear Sailors,
Due to the current economic conditions the Junior organising team and CHSC committee have decided to restructure and reduce the costs of the club membership and the sailing course for 2011.
It was always the aim of the club that as many children as possible would learn to sail and enjoy our wonderful waters and we hope that the reduced price will give better value and help the many of us that are struggling in these hard times.
The revised Club Membership Fee is 100.00 euro.
Start Sailing will now be a 2 week course at a cost of 250.00 euro per child.
Basic Skills will be a 2 week course at a cost of 250.00 euro per child.
Improving Skills will be a 3 week course at a cost of 375.00 euro per child.
Go Racing will be a 3 week course at a cost of 375.00 euro per child.
Advanced Boat Handling will be a 3 week course at a cost of 375.00 euro per child.
There will still be a €25 reduction in the course fee for a second child and each subsequent child.
All those applicants that are paid in full to date will be reimbursed as soon as possible.
At present there are still places available on the courses and we will be accepting applicants up until the 31 March 2011.

Sailing Club Fundraiser Dinner
The annual sailing club dinner will take place on the night of the 12th March 2011 in the Maryborough House Hotel. Tickets for the dinner are €50.
This year we hope that some of our younger members will join us so that we can make the dinner into a proper family occasion. In order to encourage this we will be offering a special student price of €25.
